Summer Camp Descriptions:

Is your child creative and wanting to create their own masterpiece this summer? Our campers will get to explore their creative side participating in fun and exciting arts & crafts projects each day.  Arts and crafts ideas encourage children to use their imagination. Making something on their own endows them with a confidence in their abilities to make individual decisions and choices.

Create & Discover (Ages 4 – 6)

This fun camp well-rounded camp that is specifically designed for younger campers aged 4 to 6 years old.  Our campers will be doing a variety of activities include arts & crafts, simple science experiments, making simple no-bake recipes, story time with puppets and tons of fun. In this camp, we like to get messy so please send your campers in old clothes!

A fun-filled week of STEM challenges!  Campers will have a chance to explore Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics through exciting hands-on STEM challenges.  Each day campers will participate in new challenges.  Campers will work in groups and will be assigned a structure to build, a list of possible materials and building constraints. Teams will have to work together to choose the right materials to build their structure. Blind contests will be held and winners will be selected each day by impartial judges based on creativity and adherence to building constraints.  Are you up for the challenge?

Glitter, Glitz & Glam (Ages 6-12)

This camp experience is a unique way for your girls to feel like a princess. Every day at camp the girls will make a new spa product to take home with them ranging from bath salts to lip gloss and scented bubble bath. In addition, there will be crafts, jewelry making and lots of girly fun.

Junior Detectives Undercover (Ages 7-12)

Follow the clues, go undercover and explore the intriguing world of detectives and secret spies. Campers will dust for fingerprints, search for clues, break secret codes, solve puzzles, discover invisible messages, and develop detective skills in a race to solve a series of fun and challenging mysteries! Imagine using what you learned to uncover mysteries, like finding clues to discover what was stolen from camp! Campers are divided into teams of detectives and agents. These teams work together to solve the mystery of the week!

Lego Building (Ages 5 – 12)

Calling all young designers, budding builders, and innovative Lego engineers – we’ve got the perfect camp for you!  Lego Building is designed for kids who love to create, build, and discover using Lego bricks and parts. Each day, campers will have a different “building theme.”  Each builder will receive a small Lego Boxed set to take home on the last day of camp. Lego Building is not affiliated with Lego, the company, in any way, but uses Lego bricks and parts.

Mythbusters (Ages 7 – 12)

You’ve been told to not try that at home, so try it at camp instead! Bust scientific myths with us during this week of inquiry and investigation. Campers will pretend they are on Discovery’s MythBusters and use the scientific process to test the validity of various myths. Join our camp leaders as we dispel some of these mind-bending science myths.

Science Rocks (Ages 6-12)

Explore the world of Biology, Chemistry, and Physics all in one camp. Science Rocks offers the perfect combination of hands-on science experiments and fun! Our campers have a blast creating cool chemical reactions, erupting volcanoes and exploring everything slimy, gooey, and gross. Science experiments help kids of all ages understand important concepts and the opportunity to discover something completely new. What’s more, science experiments are fun! Some, like Oobleck, are messy. Others are impressive, like erupting a volcano. Whatever activity, your child will be developing new skills as he forms predictions and makes observations. No matter where your child’s interests may lie, we have a science experiment that will teach them something cool and make them smile.

Splatter & Swirl (Ages 8-12)

Time to get creative!  A fun week of painting activities to allow children to explore different styles of painting. Painting is often the first exposure children have to art. Which isn’t surprising. There’s a million different ways to do it!

Young Chefs (Ages 7-12)

Join other young chefs in this fun cooking camp and learn to make simple, tasty recipes together! We incorporate cooking terms, measuring, chopping, mixing, sautéing and the importance of cleanliness.  Campers will have fun making and EATING their creations. If your child has any food allergies, please contact us regarding them prior to registering.  Recipes may include dairy products, chocolate, and nuts.  We may be able to eliminate specific ingredients from your child’s activity but exposure to the items cannot be avoided.
